I’m the Operations Manager for the Bird & Bat Division in the Mid-Atlantic. My team handles bird exclusion and netting installs on commercial and industrial sites, including warehouses, hangars, and military bases. I support the team by planning jobs, coordinating schedules, and making sure they have the tools and information needed to work safely and efficiently.

Teamwork is a big part of everything we do. Our projects require clear communication and coordination, especially when working in lifts or installing large net systems. I guide the team by setting clear expectations and making sure everyone knows their role and how to support each other on the job.

I lead by example. I stay connected to the field and step in where needed, and I remind the team that our work ties into the bigger picture of the company. We share ideas, help one another, and approach challenges together to stay aligned as One Team.

I check in with my team regularly, listen to their concerns, and give feedback or guidance when needed. I also make sure expectations are clear for everyone, which helps the whole group stay confident and prepared.

I focus on preparation. Before starting a job, I make sure the team has all the details, layouts, materials, safety notes, and the plan. When they understand the job clearly, they can make smart decisions on-site. I also encourage them to speak up if they see a better or safer solution.

A project can’t be successful without the essence of Teamwork. Chuck’s leadership style demonstrates that when you prioritize collaboration and support, a team can work together brilliantly, proving no challenge is too large to tackle when we act as One Team.
